MEET OUR FOUNDERS
With a shared passion for sustainable agriculture, Allan Gandelman and Karli Miller-Hornick started Head & Heal in 2018 out of the farm kitchen. They began selling CBD at their local farmers market, and before they knew it, they had hundreds of customers telling them about how their products had changed their lives. Over the past 14 years, our farm has been growing USDA Certified Organic vegetables for our community. We have a 350 member CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) program, provide vegetables to low income families in our community, and donate food weekly to our local shelters. We are committed to building resilience within our community and leaving the planet a better place than we left it.

Growing
We grow our plants under the sun under hoop houses. These hoops protect the cannabis from rainfall, which allows us to have more control over the plant's growing cycle. It also prevents rain water from falling on the mature buds, preventing disease. We take pride in growing our cannabis regeneratively. We plant flowers amongst the fields to attract beneficial insects. We never use pesticides or herbicides. Our fields are hand weeded daily to allow our plants to grow big and strong.

Expert ExtractorsIn 2018, we built a state of the art, nutraceutical lab for cannabinoid extraction. We learned from the best extractors from California, and focus on full-spectrum, plant rich extracts. We are terpene geeks and do everything in our power to preserve the plant in it's fullest form. We believe that a quality product is rich in sesquiterpenes and rare cannabinoids. All of our products are tested by a 3rd-party laboratory and lab results are available on our websites or by scanning the QR code on your product.
